Pep Talk
In today's strip, I make my first attempt at a continuing storyline. I was trying to balance the bridging of two strips while making the new strip standalone in its own right. In other words, I want the reader to be able to read this week's strip without having read the previous one and still having it make sense.
I played around more with the word bubbles again. I think I'm getting better at placement and such.

(this is johnny): hilarious stuff kevin. i liked how his facial expression gradually progresses. just everything about the character details down to the phone was good. i think you mentioned already to me that you were gonna start putting in more details in the background.
